2007 Olympia Update - Phil Heath to Sit Out

As reported by Flex Magazine, Phil Heath has decided to forego the 2007 Mr. Olympia contest. For the second straight year, Heath has decided to sit out the annual fall classic despite qualifying with a Top 5 finish earlier this year at the Arnold Classic. Just one week after getting married, Heath told Flex Magazine that “there is no doubt in my mind that I’m doing the Olympia in 2008. Mark it down”.

As of this date, 23 athletes are qualified to compete at the 2007 Mr. Olympia contest. It is believed that Branch Warren will join Phil Heath on the sidelines for this year’s event. For more information, visit www.FlexOnline.com or www.MrOlympia.com.
