| Launched
on June 13, 2005, “Pro Bodybuilding Weekly” became the
first talk radio show devoted exclusively to the world of professional
bodybuilding. In its early stages, the show gained popularity as
a “web-only” production. The weekly broadcasts were
immediately embraced by computer bound bodybuilding fans (broadcasting
on Bodybuilding.com – the world’s # 1 most visited bodybuilding
website).
Now,
less than two years later, all of that changed when the show landed
a major broadcast and distribution deal. The result was a brand
new home on Sirius Satellite Radio, the same media outlet that boasts
Howard Stern, NFL Football and a listener base of more than 5 million
subscribers. A few weeks later, the show announced that it would
also be added to the American Forces Radio Network (formerly known
as Armed Forces Radio). The AFN is comprised of more than 500 affiliate
stations in 170 countries.
An
analysis of existing bodybuilding media outlets and magazine circulations
reveals that PBW is bodybuilding’s most wide reaching media
outlet. For more information and advertising opportunities, visit
