Pro Bodybuilding Weekly Expands Production Team

July 5, 2006 - Pro Bodybuilding Weekly, the radio voice of professional bodybuilding, announces the addition of Jimmy Mentis and Shawn Perine to its production team. The first talk radio show devoted exclusively to professional bodybuilding has enabled fans to hear directly from the biggest names in the fitness industry.

Executive Producer Dan Solomon explains, “Jimmy Mentis is one of the most creative and business savvy members of our industry. As the audience has grown, we realize the responsibility we have to our listeners. Jimmy will help us further develop strategic alliances that will ensure the future of the program.”

The show currently enjoys powerful promotional alliances with Muscle & Fitness Magazine, Flex Magazine, MuscleTech, Bodybuilding.com and a growing list of industry leaders. Hosted each week by Solomon and Bob Cicherillo, the worldwide broadcasts air live on Mondays at 8 pm EST.

Following a career as an IFBB athlete and a fitness cover model, Mentis has gained notoriety for the production and development of several top selling performance products for Scientific Sports Nutrition. Mentis states, “I’m excited to join Dan and the team at Pro Bodybuilding Weekly. The industry has taken notice of the growing audience and
popularity of the show. In this new role, I will seek out new opportunities in an effort to develop all phases of the show.”

Shawn Perine, a Senior Writer for Flex Magazine, will serve as Pro Bodybuilding Weekly’s new Creative Director, a role that oversees various aspects of the show’s promotion and technical development.
