PBW Report: Ben Weider Resigns

As reported on Pro Bodybuilding Weekly, Ben Weider has resigned his position as IFBB President following 61 years as the Federation’s highest ranking officer. The announcement came just days after Weider appeared for a rare interview on PBW. Immediately following the announcement, Weider was named “Honorary Lifetime President”. Following a formal election, Rafael Santonja of Spain has emerged as the new President. Santonja is also the President of the European Bodybuilding Federation.
